DRAFT MINUTES OF PROCUREMENT SUBCOMMITTEE MEETING

FUTURE MEETING TIMES

  Action Items: Peter will survey interested parties in the UK and Denmark
and provide feedback on possible times for
                future meetings. Others reading these minutes who are
interested in participating should contact the
                Chair.
  		    Peter will investigate the feasibility of a F2F SC
meeting in Brussels the week of 19 September.  

EXTENDED PROCUREMENT MODEL STATUS

   PB: Working on organizing ABIE's into logical groups. Will have completed
spreadsheets by 31 August.

	 Discussed changing the definitions and cardinality for Buyer and
Seller Parties in the Invoice.

	 All agreed that Buyer and Seller have a universal meaning and
should not be changed. Additional Parties that need
       to be included for trading partner specific implementations can be
specified in implementation guides.

	 All agreed that UBL documents need to appeal to a diverse audience
and use cases and definitions should have the
       widest possible meaning. Specific or restricted use cases and
definitions are outside of the scope of UBL and 
       should be documented and agreed to by trading partners using
implementation guides.

Tentatively scheduled for 5 September, 2005 at 08:00 UTC/10:00 AM CEST/1:00
AM PST. A meeting announcement will be sent upon receipt of feedback from
