MINUTES OF PACIFIC UBL TC MEETING 00H30 - 02H30 UTC TUESDAY 7 FEBRUARY 2006 ATTENDANCE Jon Bosak (chair) G. Ken Holman Stephen Green STANDING ITEMS Additions to the calendar: http://ibiblio.org/bosak/ubl/calendar.htm 5-7 December 2006 XML 2006 Boston (plus tutorials the day before and meetings the day after) UBL TC meeting 7-11 August in Montréal (note that GKH can only attend Thu and Fri of that week) SC34/WG3 meeting, Montréal (in connection with Extreme Markup) Liaison report: ebBP TC SG: Continuing to work with Sascha Schlegel on possibly extending the scope of the business processes for UBL 2 SBS. Subcommittee report: SBSC JB: UBL 1.0 SBS has started second public review... SG: And ebBP simultaneously. SG/GKH: UBL 2 SBS: Waiting for TSC subset from AS and content changes following UBL 2 public review to produce XPaths for UBL 2 SBS. GKH: Have developed a method for generating UBL/ODF input/output filters from proforma UBL instances and communicated this to Lars Oppermann and Michael Brauer of the OpenOffice development team. Liaison report: UN/CEFACT JB: UN/UBL call next week; Mark Palmer has begun planning the schedule for TBGxx/UBL meetings at the March UN/CEFACT Forum in Vancouver. Subcommittee report: HISC GKH: Will begin weekly meetings around 9 a.m. EST, exact day and time TBD. Team report: Code Lists GKH: SG has satisfied the dependency on the instance; am now finishing up a Docbook OASIS specification authoring and publishing environment that will be contributed to OASIS and can be used for all of the standalone specifications. This will include XSLT transforms for generating PDF (A4 and letter) and XHTML or HTML from the Docbook source together with instructions for use. On completion, the publishing environment will be announced by OASIS. No problem meeting the Feb 20 deadline. Will create UBL 2 genericode versions of the UBL 1 code lists. Schedule review ACTION: JB to revise the schedule for normative deliverables and prepare a schedule for the supporting materials. BRUSSELS F2F We have to choose between a four-day meeting 2-5 May and a 4.5-day meeting 22-26 May. SG: This really depends on MC's availability. No preference between the two dates, but would actually prefer the week of 29 May. XML SPY LICENSES We need to know who already has one. SG: Does have one.
