MINUTES OF PACIFIC UBL TC MEETING TUESDAY 14 OCTOBER 2008 ATTENDANCE Jon Bosak (chair) G. Ken Holman Andy Schoka STANDING ITEMS Additions to the calendar: http://ubl.xml.org/events None. Subcommittee report: TSC AS: Constructive meeting included participation from Denmark and USDOT. Another call has been scheduled for next Thursday. (See also under UBL 2.1 Issues List below.) Review of Atlantic call minutes No comments. UBL 2.1 ISSUES LIST Question from the Atlantic call: should we make separate lists for legacy issues, TSC issues, and PSC issues? AS: The TSC discussed this and concluded that it would be best if the subcommittees maintained separate issues lists that would ultimately be consolidated into a master list. JB: We need to make sure that the TBG3 legacy issues are transferred into the TSC list. AS: Already done. INTERNATIONAL DATA DICTIONARY JB: A candidate for PRD 01 went out to the TC list today for review. UBL WORK SCHEDULE ACTION (1/8): JB to revise the work schedule spreadsheet. Pending. ADVANCED ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE (XAdES) JB: We have received several offers of participation, including suggestions for the UBL/ETSI liaison. ACTION: JB to forward correspondence to TM and RobertoC (cc to GKH) for advice on how to set up the relationship with ETSI. 2009 TC MEETING SCHEDULE 19-23 January 2009 in Fremantle http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/ubl/200808/msg00010.html Expected attendance: TM, MC, GKH; possibly AS, MG, AH From minutes of 30 September: "TM: Urgently need to know who will be attending and also able to present on Friday of the meeting. This information is needed for a proposal to a prospective sponsor. It would be particularly valuable for someone from Europe to speak regarding BII." 20-24 April 2009 (colocated with UN/CEFACT Forum) ACTION (9/30): TM to arrange possible colocation. August 2009 JB: MC reports that Balisage 2009 has been scheduled for 10-14 August, which according to our previous agreement would put the TC plenary at 3-7 August. Is there any reason it couldn't be held 17-21 August instead? AS: Have family commitment that week, but could call in. GKH: No problem with meeting 17-21 August. JB: Will ask in Atlantic call. Working groups meeting during the week include WG7 (transport and freight management) and the EFM subgroup. On 12 November there will be a special APEC-ISO joint workshop on "New Technology and International Standards: Transforming Intermodal Transportation" sponsored by ISO TC 204 and the APEC Transport Working Group.
