    PRELIMINARY AGENDA FOR UBL TC MEETING IN KARS 19-23 SEPTEMBER 2011

The meeting in Kars will largely be devoted to completion of the UBL 2.1
PRD3 release package and work on a revision of the UBL 2.1 Naming and
Design Rules.

MEETING LOGISTICS

    The meeting will take place at the headquarters of Crane Softwrights:
    1605 Mardick Court, Kars, Ontario K0A2E0.  So far, all confirmed
    participants arriving from other locations have said they plan to
    stay in Ottawa, which is about 35 minutes from Kars.  Hotels are also
    available near the airport.

    NOTE WELL that temperatures in Ottawa may approach 40 °F (4 °C) on
    some nights during the meeting.

DINNER SUNDAY NIGHT

    Nothing formal; possible informal meetup TBD.

TIME ZONE (UTC/GMT-4)

    Morning calls begin at 09:15 local time (fifteen minutes after
    the meeting begins) to allow for initial equipment and meeting
    room setup.  To find the local time corresponding to 09:15 in

TELEPHONE CONFERENCE INFORMATION

    The opening plenary will begin 09:15 Kars time Monday morning.
    We will be switching over from Skype to GoToMeeting this time around;
    watch email for details.

    Conference calls with European participants will take place during
    the morning Tuesday through Thursday on a schedule to be determined
    during the opening plenary Monday morning.  We will delay that
    planning discussion on Monday to begin no earlier than 11:00 in Kars
    (17:00 Monday in Geneva) in order to give European participants time
    to join the call.

    It is ALWAYS a good idea to check email prior to each day's meeting
    to be informed of changes in schedule.

AC POWER AT UBL MEETINGS

    Every participant using a device that consumes AC power is
    reminded to bring a three-way tap to the meeting room in which
    he or she intends to participate.  Canadian power is 60 Hz
    110-120 VAC.

INTERNET ACCESS

    Internet access sufficient for email will be available.

MEALS

    Crane will provide lunch on Monday and the group will then decide on
    arrangements for the rest of the week.

       others

    Review 2.1 work schedule

    Consider structural revision of the UBL 2.1 PRD3 documentation

    Complete UBL 2.1 PRD3 documentation and revise the OASIS DocBook
       template with UBL as the use case

    Complete all components of the PRD3 release package

    Revise 2.1 NDR documentation

    Set 2012 face-to-face meeting schedule

    Discuss ASBIEs as XML constructs

    Discuss governance of UBL after 2.1

       Europe
    Friday morning: closing plenary
    Afternoons: Work session breakouts
