thanks audun, that would be very helpful.

i am still discussing with Arianna the best way to do the updates but i 
will get back to you when we have a routine sorted out.

there are some guidelines which are self evident in the examples but 
nothing formal.  my experience with (and review of) formal guidelines is 
they soon become unhelpful. i think we need to be focused on meaningfulness.

one thing i do want to do is establish a controlled vocabulary of terms 
so we minimize the terms used.
