Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (UBL-6) Create NDR 3.0 standard

Ken Holman commented on UBL-6:
------------------------------

An important revision in Committee Specification Draft 01 Working Draft 03:

https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/document.php?document_id=54964

There were critical errors in the prose derivations, which are now illustrated with pseudo-code formulae that have been tested with actual formulae ODS and Google Docs. None of the cosmetic issues have been addressed ... I've just been focused on the formulae.

> Create NDR 3.0 standard
> -----------------------
>
> Key: UBL-6
> URL: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/UBL-6
> Project: OASIS Universal Business Language (UBL) TC
> Issue Type: New Feature
> Components: Naming and Design Rules (NDR)
> Reporter: Ken Holman
> Assignee: Ken Holman
>
> Create UBL Naming and Design Rules 3.0 OASIS Standard with prescriptive rules for creating new schemas and descriptive items to document UBL 2.1 creation process and the NDR rules for future revisions of UBL 2.x. Note that the "3.0" is the revision of the NDR, not the revision of UBL.
> During the drafting process, the committee will consider breaking up the combined document into two document published jointly: an OASIS Standard with the prescriptive rules and an OASIS Committee Note with the descriptive exposition.
> Note that the committee agreed on the new title "UBL Naming and Design Rules 3.0" at the Stockholm face-to-face: https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/ubl/201412/msg00002.html
