[ubl] UBL Australian Regional Sub-Committee Proposal

Dear UBL Committee Members,

I would like to formally request setting up a regional sub-committee for the purposes of driving the adoption and usage of UBL in Australia.

The Digital Business Council’s work in agreeing and endorsing an interoperability framework for the purposes of enabling eInvoicing is now complete. Vendor community members have requested further guidance and coverage in the use of UBL for the entire procurement supply chain. In the absence of a forum such as the Digital Business Council there is still a need to bring together interested community participants, collaborating under mature governance processes, to provide the much needed certainty on the usage of UBL for this market.

Pending the UBL Chair's acceptance of the motion at the next meeting, kindly review the attached charter and please consider your position.
