In relation to the discussion around UBL-182/UBL-217 I would like to give an example of an "TaxInclusive" receipt from a dutch supermarket
I bought the following 3 items:
KaiserRolls:
they are 0.39 EUR (including VAT) a piece, but when you buy 4 you only pay 1.00 EUR. So that can either be implemented as a AllowanceCharge under price so that the priceamount is 0.25 a piece and a baseamount of 0.39 and a discount of 0.14 a piece. OR implement that as a linelevel allowancecharge (allowance in this case) of the 0.56 on a baseamount of 1.56.
Food is charged against 9% VAT here in the netherlands
La TRappe Tripple 6 Pack (belgium Beer):
That is 6.35 for a six pack and that is including 21% VAT
When you buy beer in bottles you need to pay for the bottles, and you get a refund when you hand in the bottles again. That is called "Statiegeld" and that is charged at 0.10 EUR per bottle (so 0.60). That is a charge at the "Beer line level" and Statiegeld is except of VAT, so there is a difference between the VAT of the Items and the VAT on the charge. And you need to be able to show both amounts separate and inclusive of VAT.
" Scrach Lottery ticket":
It s "4 leaf clover" scratch ticket .. and lottery tickets are exempt of VAT.
At the bottom you can clearly see that the list out all the various VAT percentages on this "invoice" and there they show the TaxableAmout, TaxAmount and TaxInclusieveAmount per VAT code.
This is obviously at "Total Invoice level" but you could also show all that per line.
so there are 3 lines because there are 3 different TAX categories on this invoice so the same TaxScheme (VAT)
So hopefully this might help in the discussion around these tickets.
