Subject: RE: [uddi-dev] passing from a private to a public UDDI

Thomi,

In addition to Claus' comments, I'd add that the fastest way to retister a large number of services in the public UBR registry is to use SOAP messages. Using tooling or scripts would be the most effective means of accomplishing a bulk load.

Thomi,

I try to understand your issue, that is, what level of difficulty you are concerned about when registering services to the UDDI Business Registry for public access.
In case you are concerned about the amount of services you want to make publicly discoverable, there are a number of UDDI client tools available that can certainly help you in this regard.
In case you are concerned about using the UDDI Business Registry in addition to your own local UDDI registry, you certainly have the option to make your own UDDI registry publicly available.

Does this answer your question?

Subject: [uddi-dev] passing from a private to a public UDDI

Hi all,

Is it true that whenever a provider of a private UDDI wishes to make his/her services available to the public, he has to register the services (one by one) of the private registry in one of the UDDI operator nodes? Is there some other easier way to do it?

Thank you in advance,
