This intellectual property disclosure is based upon the personal knowledge of the individual(s) involved with the UDDI Technical Committee on behalf of Oracle and does not represent the results of an Oracle patent portfolio search.

At this time, Oracle believes the following published patent application contains one or more claims which, if allowed and issued, may be essential to implement versions 1, 2, and 3 of the UDDI specification.

                  ORACLE US Patent Application

Oracle will, upon written request, provide a nonexclusive, royalty free patent license, with other reasonable terms and conditions for patents issued to Oracle which contain claims essential to implement versions 1, 2, or 3  of the UDDI specification, and for which Oracle is able to provide patent licenses (including patents issuing on the above published patent application), for implementing versions 1, 2, and 3 of the UDDI specification.  Such a license may be contingent on receiving a royalty-free licence to all claims that the licensee has or acquires in the future and are essential to implementing any or all of versions 1, 2, and 3 of the UDDI specification.
Any party wishing to request an Oracle patent license, in support of versions 1, 2, and 3 of the UDDI specification should write to:
