Subject: v2 client issues

Thanks, everyone, for the discussion during Tuesday’s
call on v3 issues for v2 clients. After doing some more thinking and
consulting with the rest of my team, Microsoft is satisfied with this aspect of
the v3 spec as written. Therefore, I won’t be submitting a change
