[uiml-comment] Overview document on XML-based GUIs

The purpose of this message is to notify the current
readership of a possibly relevant and hopefully
useful overview document:

"XML Markup Languages for User Interface Definition"

located at:

The document was constructed hastily, so it's likely
to have some gaps and possibly errors.  Please
send notification of either.

I welcome comments on the draft overview, including URLs
for additional material that merits reference within
the general framework of the topic.  Historical
references are welcome as well as citations for
currently active work.

The TC chairs are invited to reference this document
from the UIML-TC web page as a means of promoting
interest in the work of this OASIS TC.
