Proposed UOML TC List of Deliverables,Anticipated Audience and Language

Dear all:

 

By this week, there are three proposed subjects which will be discussed as follow:

1. Proposed UOML TC List of Deliverables

 [A list of deliverables, with projected completion dates.]

Each of the TC's phases will result in a Committee Specification that includes:

• a set of XML schemas setting the vocabulary, constraints and semantics of the operation in question, and
• a set of written specifications that describe the elements and attributes of the schemas in plain English.

The TC has delivered a first Committee Draft before 31 October, 2006.

The TC aims to deliver a second Committee Draft in May 2007 and aims to submit this Committee Draft for balloting by OASIS membership for OASIS standard status.

The TC aims to deliver additional Committee Drafts throughout the second phase every year. If one of these Committee Drafts contains substantial changes from the last Committee Draft that has OASIS standard status, the TC shall submit this Committee Draft for balloting by OASIS membership for OASIS standard status.

2. The proposed UOML TC Anticipated Audience:

[The anticipated audience or users of the work.]

The anticipated audience for this work includes, but is not restricted to:

• makers of document related applications;
• Docbase providers; 
• Other specification writers that need document operations or parts of it.

3. The proposed UOML TC Language:

 [The language in which the TC shall conduct business.]

The TC shall conduct its proceedings in English.
