Just a reminder that 2009-01-20T14:00 in Beijing is 2009-01-19T22:00 (the
previous day) in Los Angeles and 2009-01-20T01:00 in Boston, as well as
2009-01-20T06:00 in London.  As an observer I am not particularly concerned,
but it might matter to other expected participants in North America.
