We could, alternatively, use XML as the basis, but it seems a bit like overkill to me. From now on, we can just use OO's internal change tracking and merging mechanisms. Yes, it's a pain for pushing patches around on the mailing list, but it's easier for end users IMHO. Cheers, Rusty.
