VIRTIO TC Meeting Minutes: Oct 8, 2013

Hi folks,

Here are the meeting minutes from the call on Oct 8th.

1. Meeting started at 13:00UTC

2. Sasha Levin is taking minutes.

3. Reminder to record your attendence.

4. Cornelia is back from leave. Anthony isn't back yet.

5. Motion to accept previous minutes.
	- Moved by Rusty, Pawel seconded. Passed unanimously.

6. Review of minor subversion commits.
	- Rusty mentioned that nothing too segnificant in recent commits, mostly cleanups.
	- Motion to accept minor changes.
		- Moved by Rusty, Michael seconded. Passed unanimously.

7. VIRTIO-4: Rusty commented that virtio-blk spec should always implement flush. No objections to 
Rusty's proposal. Still needs to be written as a spec change.
	- Moved by Rusty, Michael seconded. Passed unanimously.

8. VIRTIO-9: Cornellia commented that they're still looking into it. Doesn't want to block everyone 
here but asked to defer with resolution. Rusty suggested we put it as is but can fix it later. 
Further discussion deferred for next call.

9. VIRTIO-15: Michael commented it's the best option in his view.
	- Moved by Rusty, Michael seconded. Passed unanimously.

10. VIRTIO-19: Motion to accept. Moved by Rusty, Pawel seconded. Passed unanimously.

11. VIRTIO-28 After discussion, Daniel asked to defer to next meeting for additional review.

12. VIRTIO-30: Rusty commented that this will provide stricter initialization, helps feature 
negotiation. Michael happy with consensus.
	- Moved by Rusty, Michael seconded, Passed unanimously.

13. VIRTIO-34: Consensus is that the flag should be per-module so those could be changed 
independantly. Further discussion deferred to next meeting.

14. Rusty would like to get a working draft soon. Estimated time is ~2 more meetings.
