Subject: Re: [virtio] CORRECTION: 15-day Public Review for Virtual I/O Device (VIRTIO) Version 1.0 - ends January 26th

Absolutely but unfortunately if you look for "virtio spec"
in google you get these links:

1. docs.oasis-open.org/virtio/virtio/v1.0/.../virtio-v1.0-csprd01.html
2. docs.oasis-open.org/virtio/virtio/v1.0/virtio-v1.0.html
3. docs.oasis-open.org/virtio/virtio/v1.0/.../virtio-v1.0-csprd02.pdf

1 is especially problematic: I keep getting questions from people who
read that :( After public review concludes, csprd really should redirect
to the final cs in some way.
For example, how about moving csprd somewhere and replacing them
with a small HTML stub saying: you likely want the latest
version, if yes go <here> if no go <there>.

I guess at least it has the link to the latest version, but that
really should be more prominent. For example, it says:

	This version:
	Previous version:
	Latest version:

Really should be:

	Latest version:
	Previous version:
	This version:

This version might be useful sometimes but most likely
the reader already has the document and does not need it.

Then it says:

Technical Committee: OASIS Virtual I/O Device (VIRTIO) TC

And it's a link, but it is not very prominent,
and it is far from obvious that it's a link
and where does it point to.
If it you print it on paper then that info
is lost completely.
Also, there's no hint here that one can find any documents
on that page at all.

Also, it does not explain whom to contact with issues.
As a result people try to contact the chairs since their email
is there.

Next, if one follows the TC link, one gets the public page,
and it's also rather hard to navigate.
Can I change that or is the format standard?
I have in mind some HTML with first of all big buttons for
latest specs, email, announcements, then the rest.

I updated group description with some links - how long
does it take for these to land on the public page?
I wonder why isn't this immediate.
