Subject: Your voting responsibility in OASIS

OASIS is a rather unique standards consortium, with its open governance
model. This means YOU help select the Board of Directors and Technical
Advisory Board. Your leaders are selected based on your evaluation of the
candidates merits and ability to provide governance as you select.

It is important that you take the time to make your informed selections,
knowing that the leadership of OASIS is selected by this process, and that
your vote is private. If you have already voted, thank you. You can
confirm your vote has been recorded by revisiting the ballot, links below.

This year's Board of Directors election provides a wide range of candidates
from several continents, from large companies to small, from end-users to
technology providers. Every one of the 8 Board candidates deserve your
careful consideration as you vote. See the candidate profiles at
http://www.oasis-open.org/private/elections/2005board/ and the ballot at

This year, we are fortunate to have a record number of candidates running
for the Technical Advisory Board. These candidates also offer a wide global
representation and a wide range of technical background. With 8 candidates
vying for the 4 elected seats, your careful review of the candidate profiles
at http://www.oasis-open.org/private/elections/2005tab/ will help when you
vote at

As always, feel free to contact me directly with any questions about the
election process.
