Subject: Your OASIS Voting Responsibility
There is an OASIS Board of Directors ballot open that gives you three highly qualified and motivated candidates from which to choose. You have both the opportunity and responsibility to vote, because in OASIS the Board seats are not bought by a big dues payment, they are not filled by special invitation. The Board is selected by your vote. I encourage you to review the candidates' profiles at: http://www.oasis-open.org/private/elections/2006special/index.php and ask them any questions that will help you choose a candidate. Your vote will be private, in that no other member will see how your organization voted. If you have already voted, thank you. If you discover some new views before the ballot closes, you can change your vote. If you have not yet voted, please do so. As a reminder, you will receive several automated messages that the ballot is open and you've yet to vote. You can follow the link in those messages to the ballot. You can go to the ballot directly at http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/voting/ballot.php?id=1167 anytime before the ballot closes. You will no longer receive reminder messages after you, or an authorized voting contact for your organization votes. As always, feel free to ask me any questions about the voting process.
