2009 OASIS Board and TAB elections are now open

Voting Members,

The board and TAB election is now open.  The Board candidate profiles can be
found at

candidates at

The ballot is at http://tools.oasis-open.org/election/

Please note the election tools and ballot location are different this year.
We are using STV voting to capture and consider your preference among
candidates and we have a new tool in place to accommodate that.    This new
voting mechanism is also the first step in our migration to a new tool set
for members. Therefore, the ballot will not be visible directly through the
Voting Group or you're my Groups page.  So I will make it available to you
in as many different ways as possible. (note that our election cycle is
slightly longer this year, to accommodate this change)

If you have any questions or comments about this new process, let me know.
We will be using your feedback to improve this service as we continue the
evolution of new member tools.
