OASIS Board of Directors election

Dear OASIS Board election voters:

I wish to take this opportunity to solicit your support for the re-election of Frederick Hirsch to the OASIS Board of Directors.

Frederick Hirsch is currently the Treasurer and Chair of the Board Finance and Governance Committees at OASIS and has previously served as Chair of the Board, Secretary, Vice Chair as well as Chair of the Board IPR and Strategy Committees, among other posts. Fujitsu has shown a steady commitment to open standards and OASIS over many years. Fujitsu is a sponsor of the Borderless Cyber security event in Japan, a sponsor of the OSLC (Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration) Member Section, chairing the OASIS COEL (Classification of Everyday Living) TC that was also brought to OASIS by Fujitsu, chairing the OASIS Production Planning and Scheduling (PPS) TC, chairing the OASIS Test Assertions Guidelines (TAG) TC, chairing the OASIS Web Services Basic Reliable and Secure Profiles (WS-BRSP) TC, secretary of the OASIS ebXML Messaging Services TC , participating in the OASIS Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) TC, the OASIS Cloud Application Management for Platforms (CAMP) TC, the OASIS Symptoms Automation Framework (SAF) TC, the OASIS Topology and Orchestration Specification for Cloud Applications (TOSCA) TC, Web Services Basic Reliable and Secure Profiles (WS-BRSP) TC (chair), the OASIS Web Services Secure Exchange (WS-SX) TC, and active on the Technical Advisory Board (TAB) and Board of Directors. Fujitsu is also an observer in numerous additional TCs.

Fujitsu has a continuing interest in improving the quality and adoption of OASIS specifications, supports new initiatives like Open Projects to benefit the members, and wants to see OASIS continue to be recognized as an international organization. The current Board reflects the international scope of OASIS and we would like to see it continue to do so.

Fujitsu has also strongly contributed to the governance of OASIS for many years, supporting both OASIS Board of Directors members and the Technical Advisory Board (TAB).
