I am writing you all right away to see if we on the OASIS staff can help you in any way.
We were saddened to see Adobe choose to leave OASIS and technically of course this leaves the WEMI TC without a Chair.
It also seems that the group has been struggling the last few months on deciding how to proceed with development of a specification.
Is there anything we can do to help the TC regain its footing and move forward? The first step of course is to elect a new Chair. I'm happy to help you get a meeting set up to do that if you like although you don't of course need me.
Beyond that, can we help you all with the dialog or with your decisions?
While we are sorry to see Adobe go, electing a new chair might also be an opportunity for you all to regroup and make progress again. I was excited by the work that WEMI set out to do when the TC launched; if I can help you continue, I would really like ot do so.
