Minutes approved by unanimous consent.

Rebecca Searls from Red Hat joined the TC and introduces herself.

Jacques asked members who are willing to chair to come forward.

2. Next steps for Committee Specifications BP1.2, BP2.0, RSP1.0, BSP1.1 profiles

- Progressing profiles to OASIS standards?

Need to gather 3 Statements of Use, and this for each Profile candidate (see email https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/ws-brsp/201410/msg00006.html showing past testing on BP1.2, BP2.0 from 3 companies)

Previous test result documents:
https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/ws-brsp/download.php/54502/bp1.2-bp2.0-TestResults.docx
https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/ws-brsp/download.php/54501/rsp-testResults.html

Sense from the TC is that its member organizations in principle want to move these specifications to OASIS Standards.

There should also be sufficient interest in putting effort into moving to OASIS Standards.

Need to clarify what is actually required and possible this to the mailing list.

See the Statement of Use template on the mailing list: https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/ws-brsp/201411/msg00006.html

Red Hat does have some tests of BSP, using a testsuite that has been run through the BSP checks. Based on those results two JIRA issues were created:
https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/WSBRSP-4
https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/WSBRSP-3

WS-I required profiles to be tested, even beyond OASIS' requirements:
http://www.ws-i.org/Testing/Tools/2004/12/BasicSecurityTestAssertions.htm
Test tools:
http://www.ws-i.org/Testing/Tools/Attach_17_WSI_Test_Java_WGD_BSP_1.1.zip
http://www.ws-i.org/Testing/Tools/attach_17_WSI_Testing_Tools_V20_C.zip
http://www.ws-i.org/Testing/Tools/attach_18_WSI_Testing_Tools_V20_Java.zip

All organizations are encouraged to look at providing Statements of Use.

- Testing tools

Current status: OASIS cannot maintain and distribute the test tools (code). Recommendation from this TC is that owners of those test tools contribute them to an outside Open Source project, where this TC still maintains the authority to say something about the test tools' ability to verify conformance / if they are doing a good job or not.

3.  Adjourn
Next meeting: early December 2014

Meeting adjourned.
