Subject: Re: [ws-caf-editors] release of new draft prior to f2f

Hmmm, sounds like a fairly significant change to the structure of the document, which will make it difficult to the other members of the TC to track, even given revision bars. And it'll make merging a nightmare :-( Or isn't it as major as it sounds?

ok, I'm guessing that we may be a day or two late. I'm working on a fold in + restructuring of the model, after which I really need you to go over it with a fine tooth comb. The problem I have is that the current organization is centered on the activity model, whereas we want to exploit the fact that the complete architecture is progressively decomposable. As it stands, for example, I found it impossible to talk about the Context without reference to activity models, for example. And I wanted to address the redudancies and forward references in the document. I'm on a clarity bender.

So I'm trying to say something about (in order):

Overview
Architecture
Context (without reference to activities)
Activities
Context Service
Context Manager
Activity Lifecycle Service

folding in the model change where appropriate. My current target to send you guys something is Friday, but I have had three days of meetings that are running to 10pm on a different time zone. So I have not made the progress I would have liked.

Did we say that we would release a new draft of Context a week prior to the f2f in New Orleans? If that's the case, then I'd like to have all the updates to merge by this Friday if possible.
