JJ: new ebXML architecture group; CAF may be new way to think about architecture for ebXML. Dale: ebXML messaging may be relevant OASIS Plenary Doug: ebXML 2.0: eq. to reliability, manifest, security profile. EMEA/AsiaPac adoption. Canada, some US gov. White paper from TC about possible directions for ebms 3.0 (white paper available). ebms has some context like things, so interest exists in TC particularly in royalty free standards. Time frame: early requirements phase. Dale: BPSS potential interest in coordination. Action for chairs: request time with ebXML ebms in New Orleans. WS-Transaction hosted by Microsoft, March 10. Open discussion: Do we as a group want to send a rep? Individual companies are concerned with legal issues associated with participation.
