5. Review editors' action items and document plan and schedule

WS-CF: Plan was to resolve WS-CF model and architecture by 8 November, then further material leading to complete draft before the face-to-face in January.

Greg has written but not yet circulated a draft abstract model, believes still on track. Eric suggested they need to get something on the TC list by Monday next. Greg's draft should be ready in next few days (by 27/28th), but is draft for discussion. Discussion can then be started by email, and progressed at the next conference call.

Once the draft model is available, we need to work out how this fits and implications for the
specification proper.

WS-Context: In seeking wider review for Committee Draft status, the 0.7 draft wasn't
fully in line with the OASIS template. Mark has updated it
and put up a new version (0.8, at
http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/ws-caf/download.php/9806/WS-Context.zip).
This doesn't have yet a status section, which OASIS may insist on, and they may also want us to use the "official"
document identification scheme. Eric will liaise with Mark and OASIS.

6. Review plans for XML 2004 demo

Someone needs to take the lead in arrangements with the meeting. Arjuna, IONA, Oracle will be involved. Attendees will be Mark (and perhaps Malik), someone from IONA Washington DC office, Simeon respectively.

A pre-demo meeting, to check things out the day before would be valuable. This had been discussed by Simeon and Arjuna fold: Eric will check with the Washington staff member.

OASIS want a "snappier abstract". Eric will provide.

They also want a conference fee of $750 per participant company. Eric will circulate the information on this to the others, and check with OASIS.

Who else will be there ? Doug said he would be, and asked for a top-level overview of what will be in the demo. Eric will provide and send to the TC list
Action: Eric to provide abstract to OASIS, fee information to participants,
            top-level overview to list

Work is progressing on context-by-reference, but by-value will be available as fallback.

7. Any other business

None
