Subject: Re: [ws-caf] FW: Groups - oasis - Ballot "status value types andoptional namespace" has closed

Tony, I'm disappointed that not more people voted, but it's difficult to
schedule votes that won't conflict with some people being away from work
for one reason or another. I believe that the Easter "break" in the UK
wasn't matched in the States, for example. There was several days notice
before the vote was started that it was coming and I extended the vote
beyond the minimum 7 days that OASIS rules require. Martin also sent out
reminders last week.

Now none of this means I'm against re-opening these specific votes. Just
that a) OASIS procedures were followed to the best of my knowledge, and
b) there's no guarantee that we can ever get a vote period that will
satisfy everyone all of the time.

All the best,

Mark.
