Subject: Re: [ws-caf] Today's meeting
Isn't it time to recognize that this initiative is dead, and thus to bury it? If the Activity Service has proved to be a dog that never barked, what hope its whelps? From what I can see, the idea of a WS-Cookie would be useful, but WS-Context is too abstract, base, low-level to achieve that. (Cookie for what: authenticator?) For the rest, if Gartner barely recognizes the existence of the WS-TX standards, what prospect is there for WS-Acid etc? Yours for the obsequies, Alastair Alastair Martin Chapman wrote: > Apologies for neither sending out an agenda nor cancelling the meeting! > I enabled the bridge just in case, and myself and Pete exchanged happy thoughts for a few minutes. > Since there was no agenda sent out before hand, I did not take roster, and will not declare this a formal meeting for voting rights. > > Next meeting in two weeks. > > Martin. > > _________________________________________________________________ > Martin Chapman > Consulting Member of Technical Staff > Oracle > P: +353 87 687 6654 > e: martin.chapman@oracle.com > > >
