Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (WSCALENDAR-8) All - needs anormative base case

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/WSCALENDAR-8?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=19691#action_19691 ]

Toby Considine commented on WSCALENDAR-8:
-----------------------------------------

The introduction explains the specification. As such it is not the normative work of the specification, but explains why someone would read the rest of the document.

If the committee likes, we can remove all references to dependent or possibly dependent specifcations. THe editor beleives this would reduce rather than improve the readers understanding of the specification
