Subject: RE: [ws-calendar] Adding to the EMIX scenarios
This is good. Onetime events and one time prices are hardly the focus of TeMIX/transactive. However more examples like the one below are great. Edward G. Cazalet, Ph.D. 101 First Street, Suite 552 Los Altos, CA 94022 650-949-5274 cell: 408-621-2772 From: Toby Considine [mailto:tobyconsidine@gmail.com] On Behalf Of Toby Considine Many of our definitions are one time prices, one time events. A significant use case exists for a regularly repeating series, as in Time of Use with Tiers currently being used by PG&E It goes something like 12-9 Tariff Structure 1 9-1 Tariff Structure 2 1-6 Tariff Structure 3 6-8 Tariff Structure 2 8-13 Tariff structure 1 This requires, as I see it, 4 Sequences of fixed duration, one of which has a start time (no date) Repeats on weekdays until end of month certain. (It could repeat on all days, but I am reaching for the harder case) Can we prepare an example of this as well? “It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends upon his not understanding it” -- Upton Sinclair.
