Subject: Short Fuse - Sub-second time reporting
We have a somewhat awkward expression of sub-seconds, using a duration to extend time expressions beyond seconds. Would it break iCalendar compatibility if we used time as expressed in the w3c note? http://www.w3.org/TR/NOTE-datetime Complete date plus hours, minutes, seconds and a decimal fraction of a second YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss.sTZD (eg 1997-07-16T19:20:30.45+01:00 The note seems to make the following legal YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss.sTZD (eg 1997-07-16T19:20:30.4567+01:00 We have discussed this before, but I do not recall “The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.”
