Subject: Issue 004 - DPWS - Faulting to non-anonymous endpoints
This issue is assigned the number
004. For further discussions on this issue, please refer to this issue number
or use this thread. From: Dan Driscoll Please defer discussions on this issue until a time this
issue is accepted and is assigned a number. Description: The descriptive text accompanying R0031 and R0041 does not
explain what happens when neither the reply endpoint nor the fault endpoint
fields contain non-anonymous endpoints. Proposed Resolution: A sentence should be added that clarifies what happens when
both the ReplyTo and FaultTo endpoints are non-anonymous: R0031 and R0041 ensure that
messages with non-anonymous addresses in both the [reply endpoint] and the
[fault endpoint] do not result in a fault being sent. |
