Vote on OASIS WS-I Maintenance TC

The result of the vote on the WS-I MS vote on the WS-I Profile Maintenance TC Charter was:

 

5 – In favor of  Charter Approval

0 – Opposed to Charter Approval

0 -  Abstain

3 – No Vote

 

With the Vote breakout as follows:

Asynchrony, Fujitsu, HP, Microsoft and Software AG – In Favor

IBM, Oracle and SAP – No Vote

 

So, it looks like although we have a majority, we really do not have a consensus on direction to proceed – this will be on the agenda again for our next meeting on Tues 3 April (after we make a decision on whether to renew the WS-I Trademark in Europe).
