Steering Committee Ballot now open

The Steering Committee ballot is now open for voting by Qualified
Electors in the Member Section.

While this is an uncontested ballot, your vote or formal abstention is
important.  The recently revised Member Section Policy requires a
quorum of one-third of Supporting Entities.

This ballot present 4 candidates for 5 seats.  The newly seated
Steering Committee will be required to address the opening, as
directed in the Member Section Policy Section 5.5:

Any quorate ballot that does not fill all available seats will be
addressed at the first meeting following the ballot closure. The
Steering Committee must vote one of the following options:

1. To accept the results and automatically reduce the size of the
Steering Committee and amend the ROP without further action required
by the Steering Committee or OASIS Board.
2. To initiate a nomination period leading to a Special Election.
3. Leave any open seats to be filled at the next annual election.
