1. Agenda review
Gershon added topic 'WS-I MS public pages and updates' to the agenda.
2. Approve minutes of previous meeting
SC approved the minutes of the 29 January 2013 meeting.
Per request of Mike, as of this meeting presence/absence of SC members will be included in the meeting minutes.
3. Update on Status of Open Seat on the Steering Committee
Mike updated the SC on the current status of the open seat on the Steering Committee.
Scott sent out a Call for Nominations for Special Election.
Gershon highlighted the opportunity to the WS-BRSP TC.
4. Update on WS-BRSP TC
Jacques (chair WS-BRSP) reports:
- TC defined the feedback process (or maintenance process) for external users of tools & profile, from comment list to our issue list and resolution. Had 1 externally reported issue so far.
Anish noted that we should include the feedback process on the public webpage of the WS-I MS pages.
- TC has initiated 3 WD by migrating and reorganizing profiles BP1.2, BP2.0, RSP1.0. Currently under internal review.
- TC is discussing the best way to handle test tools maintenance and distribution, given our limited bandwidth (small TC)
Jacques highlighted the TC discussion on how to host code of the test tools.
Anish explained that SCA tried to do this and found OASIS ill-suited for software in terms of its approval processes. SCA ended up linking a zip file in a document and approving the doc. This is if one cares about getting the appropriate status for the code in terms of CS/OS.
Doug suggests hosting it with an external group, governed by e.g. the Apache 2.0 license.
Gershon mentions that Executable Code is a topic on the May 2012 Board agenda; would be good to feed this issue into that discussion.
5. WS-I MS public pages and updates
Gershon outlined which public pages WS-I has and the SC discussed who should update these pages and linked content.
The SC decided Mike and Gershon to have editing rights on the OASIS hosted WS-I pages to keep them up to date.
Action Item for Mike and Gershon to work on updates for the web pages.
6. Confirm dates for next two meetings
