2. Approve minutes of previous two meetings

SC approved the minutes of the 7 February 2014 meetingby unanimous consent.

3. Steering Committee Election Results

Scott McGrath reported:

4. New Member Section Policy - Scott McGrath

SC noted the revised Member Section Policy and likes the new revision.

5. Update on BRSP-WG

Jacques Durand reported:

* BRSP

- 3 profiles completed it second public review. First review received a lot of comments, requiring a second public review.

- Next step for these 3 profiles will be approving them as Committee Specifications. Expected to happen at the next TC meeting.

- BSP was not part of PR; reason was some work left on deprecated features of BSP1.0, specifically on SHA1 encryption.

- Upgrading BSP with e.g. SHA256 requires the input from security and encryption experts.

- TC is working on this issue now and looking at how much change to implement in BSP1.1

- This issue needs to be resolved before progressing with BSP1.1 to a next PR or CS.

 

* Bug in test tools

- TC also received a note on a bug in the WS-I test tools.

- TC is discussing what next steps to take with respect to the test tools. Basic idea is to contribute the test tools to the open source community, while the TC will remain the authority on making assertions on test tools.

- TC has no bandwidth to develop / change the test tools.

- Maintenance and distribution of test tools will remain outside of this TC.

The SC thanked Jacques for his update on the BRSP TC activities.

6. ws-i website

Gershon reported:

- Gershon working with staff to get those implemented.

- Gershon brings up website http://ws-i.org/

- SC agrees with changes; gershon to go ahead with them.

7. Set date for next meetings
