WS-I Steering Committee Meeting, Friday, August 28

At our last meeting, we began a discussion on the future for the WS-I Profiles --- and of the WS-I Member Section.

 

Please come to Friday’s meeting prepared to discuss your company’s position regarding the three new Profiles: BP 1.2, BP 2.0, and RSP 1.0.

Should they remain as OASIS Committee Specs?

Should they proceed to become OASIS Standards?

Should they proceed to become ISO Standards?

If either of the latter, can your company provide Statements of Use for any of the Profiles?

 

Also, does your company want BSP 1.1 to be updated with SHAH 256? There is some interest this in Europe.

If so, will your company provide resources to do the needed work?

 

These are all critical questions that we must answer in order to decide the role of the WS-I Member Section and the future of the BRSP-WG.
