Subject: Conversion details
Here is the package of the source files for generating the
HTML. I imported the latest OO files from Dug to Word as described
in the earlier experiment last week. That did a pretty passable job. I had to
manually add the images back in RM and MC. I generated the included PNG files
from the PPT source of the spec figures. I had to regenerate the TOC in all of
the specs to get the proper format and level of detail. I made a few changes to
margins in order to keep the line numbers consistent with the OO generated PDF.
I was pretty successful there. Word and page wraps are not always the same, but
MC and RM Policy match on line numbers. RM has 4 additional lines as Word
counted blank lines in the WSDL that do not have line numbers in the OO
generated PDF. I’ve included the doc files with change bars that were
generated from the OO source with the above mentioned changes. I also included
doc versions with all changes accepted and PDF generated from those. The HTML
was also generated from the version with changes accepted. For that one I did
run Tidy over those to convert them to XHTML. No other changes were made to the
generated files. Below are the errors the import tool reported.
