Subject: [ws-rx] i060: amended proposal

Proposed amendment to Chris' proposal:

Previous proposal (Chris)

Replace the first bullet in section 2.3 Invariants on line 207 of wd06 [1]

The RM Source MUST assign each message to be delivered reliably a message number (defined below) beginning at 1 and increasing by exactly 1 for each subsequent message to be delivered reliably.

Proposed amendment:

L78 (Intro): "...for reliable message delivery." à: "... for reliable delivery of messages".

L168 (Section 2, comment on Fig 1): "... a reliable message exchange" à "...a reliable exchange of message".

L454 (section 3.4) : "Messages for which the delivery assurance applies MUST contain a <wsrm:Sequence> header block." Reword as: "Messages for which a reliable delivery is required MUST contain a <wsrm:Sequence> header block."

(rationale: better use the notion of "reliable delivery" already used before, which makes abstraction of the DAs required on RMD side, as long as the status of DAs is uncertain in this spec. Also, from an RMS viewpoint, knowing that a message must be delivered reliably is not quite the same as knowing which DA applies to it.)

Jacques
