Subject: RE: [ws-rx] Clarifications on two-way and anonymous clients
Paul, I apologize if I wasn't very clear. I meant to say the RMD has to wait for the client to send a request to end the incoming sequence - e.g. a TerminateSequence, and in response to that it would send its own TerminateSequence on the reply. Keep in mind that at the time I thought through this thoroughly all we had was the input spec. Some changes are probably needed given the latest and greatest CD. --Stefan -----Original Message----- From: Paul Fremantle [mailto:paul@wso2.com] Sent: Tuesday, February 28, 2006 1:38 AM To: Stefan Batres Cc: ws-rx@lists.oasis-open.org Subject: Re: [ws-rx] Clarifications on two-way and anonymous clients Stefan Firstly, thanks for posting this. I'm taking some time to digest it. In the meantime, I'm not sure I understand the RMD-Close model. > 2. The answer is that it would have to wait for the > client to make a request. At that point, the RMD would respond with a > CloseSequence message If the RMD responds with an CloseSequence message, I assume that is meant to replace the actual response the RMD is normally sending. So at that point the last response that the RMD has will need to be "retransmitted" as it will not have been sent. Given that the sequence is now closed, won't that response be undeliverable?
