Moved by Paul Cotton and seconded by Frederick Hirsch to create charter clarification based on the above message. Marc Goodner provided two friendly amendments to cover a couple of typos in the charter. The union of these clarifications is provided below:

(1) Modify the following sentence in the charter:
"c. Such mechanisms must not require the use of XPath 1.0 [21] but may provide it as an option."

TO READ AS FOLLOWS:
"c. Mechanisms to protect SOAP header elements or the SOAP body element must not require the use of XPath [21] but may provide it as an option."

(2) Modify the following sentence in the charter:
"The scope of the TCís work is to continue further refinement and finalization of the Input Documents to produce as output modular specifications that standardize the concepts, WSDL documents and XML Schema renderings of the areas described below."

TO READ AS FOLLOWS:
"The scope of the TC's work is to continue further refinement and finalization of the Input Documents to produce as output modular specifications that standardize the concepts, WSDL documents and XML Schema renderings of the areas described below."

(3) Modify the following sentence in the charter:
"Ratification of the above specifications as OASIS standards, including a brief period to address any errata will mark the end of the TCís lifecycle."

TO READ AS FOLLOWS:
