Subject: RE: [ws-sx] WS-SX TC meeting minutes - Nov 12th, 2008

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately an error was made in calculating the timing for approval of the (eventual) OASIS Standards; it should be “February 2009” rather than “January 2009”. While the ballots would close at 11:45pm ET on 31 January, the approval date would be 1 February at the earliest, and a bit later if one or more “no” votes were to be cast.

Since this was an unintentional error, as OASIS TC Administrator I’m willing to override the actual text of the motions and make the necessary modifications in the text of the actual ballots. If anyone objects please notify me by end of day on Thursday, 20 November (9pm EST) so that I have sufficient time to ensure the ballots close by end of November. If any objections are raised the TC will need to approve a new set of motions for the OASIS Standard submission ballots on or before Friday, 5 December, on order to submit for January balloting.

Regards,

Mary
