Re: [ws-tx] Namespace update relating to CD 02 changes

Ram, you are right, we need to change our namespace URIs - and all URIs
that derive from these - for the reasons you stated. You mention the URLs
of the RDDL documents; the actual namespace URIs would then be:

http://docs.oasis-open.org/ws-tx/wsat/2006/06
http://docs.oasis-open.org/ws-tx/wsba/2006/06

It makes sense to do this immediately so we can choose to use these URIs
for our interop endpoints.
Since the CD-02 draft specs are approved documents we cannot change these.
I suggest we do the following:
1. Produce new WSDL and  XSD using the updated namespaces and  (per
resolution to issue 52) implementing the removal of the Replay operation
and message type.
2. Have the editors incorporate this change in their current working
drafts.
3. Update the interop scenarios to indicate that namespaces should be moved
from 2006/03 to 2006/06
4 Update the RDDL documents.

We need to make these changes anyway, but we need the implementers to
confirm they can accomodate this change in the interop endpoints for the
current interop.

In order to accomplish this quickly, can I propose the following actions
and owners:
A1: Max update the wscoor.xsd and wscoor.wsdl and upload to KAVI
A2: Andy update the wsat.xsd and wsat.wsdl and upload to KAVI
A3: Ram update the interop scenarios and upload to KAVI
A4: Implementers to confirm (via mail posting to
ws-tx-implement@lists.oasis-open.org) whether they can accomodate this for
the current interop; I am hoping that everyone can
A5: Ram or Eric (I am excusing myself from as I'm about to go on vacation
for a couple of weeks) to coordinate with Robin to get the wsdl, xsd and
RDDL correctly placed in the docs library.
A6: Spec editors incorporate updated namespace in current working drafts.

We established these namespaces following CD 01 changes (in March 2006):

Since then we have produced CD 02, which changes the message formats (issue
30 change); also we have dropped the Replay message. Consequently, we need
to update the namespace URIs.

I suggest, we quickly address this at the earliest possibility, and update
the CD 02 drafts to reflect the namespace change.

It is also important that we avoid forcing another namespace change in the
future, particularly since we are moving closer towards producing a public
review draft of the specifications (WS-C/WS-AT public review is planned on
Aug 30, WS-BA public review is planned on Nov 02).
