Description: Inconsistencies in how contributed
specifications were mapped to the OASIS template. Issue
Details: 1.
Titles are not consistently
formatted: o
Web Services Coordination (WS-Coordination)
1.1 o
Web Services Atomic Transaction 1.1
(WS-AtomicTransaction) o
Web Services Business Activity 1.1 (WS-Business
Activity) 2.
Dupes in BA Table of Contents, section 8
appendices. 3.
BA is missing the section from the specification
entitled: Composable Architecture. Those sections are included in
Coord (1.2) and AT (1.1) 4.
Coord and AT have only a ‘references’ section.
BA distinguishes between normative and non-normative references, but it’s not
clear what criteria that was applied in making that
distinction. 5.
Coord and BA references sections are in section 1
(1.8 and 1.4 respectively). AT references are in section
10. 6.
Coord includes original spec authors and acknowledged

Resolution: 1.
Use a consistent title format.
Suggest: Web
Services xxx (WS-xxx) Working
Draft 1.1, [date] 2.
Remove duplicate appendix
listings. 3.
Add the composable architecture section
to BA between 1.1 and 1.2. 4.
Remove distinction between normative
and non-normative references in BA at this stage (we can add that distinction to
later drafts if desired). 5.
Move AT references up to be the final
sub-section in 1 (1.5) 6.
Add original spec authors and
acknowledged individuals to the acknowledgement sections of AT and
BA. |
