Subject: Issue 116 - Use of wsp:Ignorable attribute with WS-AT and WS-BApolicy assertions
Description WS-AT and WS-BA policy assertions (as in v1.1 Errata version)
violate guidelines 9 and 10 (relating to Ignorable behavior and use of
Ignorable attribute) of WS-Policy Guidelines [1]. WS-AT and WS-BA
specifications do not specify that the concerned policy assertions are NOT
ignorable from the point of view of client-side policy compatibility
assessment. Proposed Resolution WS-AT specification: Add a clarification statement to end of section 4.2: The
Atomic Transaction policy assertion MUST NOT include a wsp:Ignorable attribute
with a value of “true”. WS-BA specification: Add a clarification statement to end of section 4.2:
Policy assertions defined by this specification MUST NOT include a
wsp:Ignorable attribute with a value of “true”. [1] http://www.w3.org/TR/2007/WD-ws-policy-guidelines-20070928/
