Thank you for calling our attention
to the Primer. The WS-Tx TC reviewed this document prior to our last TC
telecon and directed Eric and I to respond that we have no comments on
the Policy Primer. We have taken one specific piece of advice from that
Primer and resolved to put a clarifying statement in our own TX specs.

I am sending this note to you in my role as co-chair
of the W3C WS-Policy WG.

The W3C WS-Policy WG has published Last Call Working Drafts of Web Services
Policy 1.5 - Primer [1] and Guidelines for Policy Assertion Authors [2]
specifications.  The Last Call review period is from Sep 28 thru Oct
19 2007.

The WS-Policy WG would like the OASIS WS-TX TC to review these specifications.

We look forward to receiving any comments your TC has on these Last Call
Working Drafts.  Instructions on filing comments can be found in the
Status sections of [1-2].
