Motion to formalize the role of the Liaison Representative

Hi all,

As per Diane's request, I am proposing a motion to define the role of the
Liaison Representative for various initiatives we will pursue. I would
appreciate any suggestions, feedback or addition to the same before we go
ahead and place it before the entire TC.

Motion to formalize the role of the Liaison Representative

The Liaison Representative is a member of the TC who volunteers to lead the
liaison activites between the BPEL TC and any other initiative that the TC
votes fit. The selection of the liaison and any invitation to other
organizations to provide a liaison should be by vote of the TC.

The role of the Liaison Representative shall be to 

1) Communicate to the TC the status of the ongoing interactions with the
external committee via the Minutes Document as well as reports during the
Conference Call.

2) Initiate and organize other discussions as appropriate, with other
specific action items (e.g. jointly formulating requirements with other
groups) to be reviewed with the TC prior to taking further action.

3) Ensure that the cross committee interactions conform to the OASIS Liaison
Policy.
