Subject: Re: [wsbpel-reqts] notes from Dec. 3 call

Regarding issues 25, and 30, Satish made a proposal to remove scope
level compensation handlers that, if accepted, would resolve both of
these issues. It will nullify issue 25, and may in fact serve as
proposed resolution for issue 30. I would definitely like to see that
proposal accepted as a way to resolve issue 30.

Issue 26 simply requires a clarification to the text which fails to
account for this specific case. Issue 50 also deals with matching a pair
of receive/reply activities. I would suggest that we add text to the
specification that will resolve both 50 and 26 at the same time.

Issues 28 and 29 needs to be brought back to discussion. Issue 28 deals
with modifying the specification to not rely on the XPath specification
for join conditions, but otherwise doesn't add, remove or change any of
the capabilities of the language. Issue 29 is a bit more complex and
tied to how we handle messages, and thus is linked to issue 71. I would
like to see how we handle messages for both WSDL 1.1 and 2.0 before
voicing further opinion on issue 29.

Issue 35 was raised in order to track the online discussion we had on
this issue, which simply dissipated at some point. If there's no further
interest in continuing this discussion or arguing for a change to the
specification, I suggest we close it.

Issue 38 requires a clarification to the specification. That
clarification is offered by the resolution to issue 23, which is generic
enough to also resolve issue 38. So I believe we can close issue 38 with
the resolution proposed by issue 23. I would still prefer to have that
clarification present in the introduction section in addition to where
issue 23 adds it.
