Subject: Fw: issues coordination call jan 12 notes

Notes from our call today.  Yaron, Monica and I participated.
- suggestion that we should not try to address 107 until 82 is completely closed.  I'd like Peter's view on this as the proposer.
To close 82, we need:
- the list of questions/items that need to be added to complete the proposal.  I will send an email reminding the TC that we're expecting their questions identifying gaps in the proposal by the Jan 19 meeting.  These questions should address areas that are not covered, rather than reopening discussion on the content of hte 82 proposal that was approved.
-once we have the list of questions (which may be void if no one provides any in a reasonable time) we will work to have them addressed.
- next phase of work to complete resolution of 82 will be to request a more detailed write up of the changes to the spec.
Yaron reports that a proposal for issue 103 has been completed and is under review.  Its most likely going to take a couple weeks to get it to the full list.
He also indicated 125 is related to 157 as well as 51.  He expects 51 and 157 may take a lot of work and is unsure when we will get to it.

issues coordination call today 1pm pacific/4pm eastern

Hi,
Sorry for the late reminder - we'll have our bi-weekly issues call today. Call in info is: 877-988-8393, int'l 203 566-8013, pc 770954.
Topic is agenda for next meeting.  Here's where I think we stand right now:
New issues to be opened:  182, 183
Issues with new proposals this week:
->none so far
Issues deferred from previous meetings:
-> issues 125: pending resolution of 103 and 51
-> 169: pending availability of Satish and Yuzo
-> 160: Alex had sent a draft proposal for this - I'm checking with him if he wants to go to a vote.
-> issue 11.1 - deferred to provide more time for review
-> issue 81 ??? I see this has had a proposal since Dec but somehow can't recall previous discussions
-> issue 92: pending updated proposal from Dieter
Long running issues
-> issue 103: work in progress
-> issue 2: work in progress
-> issue 82: review any questions on additional material to be added
-> issues  107: I've asked Peter if he'll be ready to discuss his proposal at the next call
->issues  91, 97 99:  pending closure of 107
-> issue 126:  deferred pending 107
-> issue 9: deferred pending inclusion of 84 in spec

-> issue 125: pending 103 and 51

Peter,
I think there's some housekeeping to do on the list.
The status of 12 is messed up.  We had a proposal from Yaron.  During the f2f, he changed it to be a proposal for a new issue "12.1" which was voted on and closed.   Yaron split out issue 12.2 as well and opened a new issue on rethrows (183).
12 is showing up on the list as having a proposal to vote and 12.2 is showing up as a new issue to be accepted - I don't think we'd intended subissues to go through the "bug" vote since they're parts of issues already open.  Would you please just move 12.2 to open, open and close 12.1 with the original issue 12 proposal and take 12 off the list of issues with proposals to vote?  The minutes from the f2f are now available on the web site, which may help.
Yaron - we may need a short description for 12.1.

Also,  issue 11 is showing up on the list as having a proposal - I think it because 11.1 has a proposal and so don't think it should be there - am I right?  Thanks.

Regards, Diane
