Subject: RE: [wsbpel-spec-edit] Editorial committee meeting 1/28/04
Thanks Ben. I suggest that when we have comments like the ones Ben makes below, we make use of the comments feature of Word and put them into the draft so they can be easily noticed in context during review and don't have to be correlated deliberately (and therefore risk being missed). Pen is yours. I think I caught everything but I have a couple comments: - Section 3: section on Basic Profile 1.0, I am not sure references to use case and use case artifacts belong here. I put them in because they were in resolution but I don't think they belong. - Section 11.2: To keep consistent with discussion of transition condition, discussion of joinCondition should probably be moved to above the sample rather than below. Plus a sentence introducing the relationship between <targets> and joinCondition may also be good - e.g. similar to the sentence about out relationship of <source> element to optional transition condition. - Other updates regarding Issue 73 resolution may be required. An example is Section 6.54: The lifecycle of a business process. Looking for opinions on this. Again, updated doc is checked in. So I'll need another day - unless you are in a rush for the pen and want me to check in as is. I'll actually be a train tomorrow so should be able to get time to finish 74C and then check these in by Wednesday. I'll try to check my mail before I go. Thanks! Who wants to go next? If no one responds by tomorrow I will take the pen next. Should I check it back in? Ben -----Original Message----- From: Satish Thatte [mailto:satisht@microsoft.com] Sent: Wednesday, January 28, 2004 1:22 PM To: wsbpel-spec-edit@lists.oasis-open.org Subject: [wsbpel-spec-edit] Editorial committee meeting 1/28/04 We discussed a number of different things. 1. Yaron's comments on the last set of changes Yaron will add additional explanations to section 13.5.1 as he suggested in his mail of 12/03/03 http://www.oasis-open.org/archives/wsbpel-spec-edit/200401/msg00010.html Paco will add an example to 14.3 2. Resolved issues that need to be incorporated in the spec We made the following assignments for editing Paco: 13, 85 Sid: 62 Kartha: 50 Ben: 72, 73, 74 Satish: 67, 68, 79 Of these we had substantial discussion on issue 72. We agreed that points a and b in the resolution did not need to be incorporated in the spec. We decided that point c should be incorporated in Section 3, after changing the name of the section to "Relationship with Other Standards." Ben has the pen and will finish his updates in CVS by the next weekend. Our goal is to finish this set of changes by the next call of the editors in two weeks.
